Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun played his first game in the Premier League on Sunday and it was one he would savour for a long time to come.

Balogun had a dream debut as Brighton & Hove Albion recorded a stunning 3-2 win over Manchester United at the American Express Community Stadium, Falmer.

The Nigeria centre-back who was not used in the last weekend’s season opener came in for the injured Lewis Dunk in the 20th minute and posted a fine performance in the game.

Three goals in the first half before Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba goal was not enough to help Man United claim even a point in their first away game of the season.

Not since October 2015 had Man United shipped three goals in the first half of a league match, but that was the case in Sunday's clash and the Red Devils never recovered from their sloppy start.
