Oyo state, on Tuesday September 25 welcomed former Vice President Of Nigeria and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubakar Atiku.

Atiku visited the ancient city of Ibadan after David Mark, Tambuwal and others visited a week earlier.

Unlike the other aspirants who asked for the people’s vote to become the next President, Atiku pleaded with Ibadan delegates to be united so that PDP will have an edge over opposition parties in the state.

"Let’s work together and be united so that May 2019, Oyo State will be ruled by a PDP Governor. I urge you to reject APC and make sure your next governor is a PDP Governor."

Otunba Gbenga Daniel who was among the delegates in his speech said Oyo State will continue to produce the best leadership in Nigeria.

Delegates at the meeting include; Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Engr Seyi Makinde, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Hon. Oladeji Olanrewaju, Hon.Yemi Taiwo amongst others.
