The England national football team, The Three Lions are literally roaring to Russia after they won their last test game before the World Cup on Thursday against Costa Rica.

Fresh from their 2-1 win over the Super Eagles at Wembley, Gareth Southgate's men showed they are ready with another 2-0 thumping of Costa Rica this time at Leed United's Ellan Road.

A stunning strike from Marcus Rashford and a Danny Welbeck header sparked a confident-looking England to victory on Thursday.

England manager Gareth Southgate made 10 changes from the side which beat Nigeria 2-1 at Wembley on Saturday and the result was still heartwarming for the gaffer.

“I feel in good physical form leading up to the tournament. I still need to get in the box a bit more to finish off chances. It means a lot to be involved but going to the World Cup and playing a major part is my main aim,” said the 20-year-old Rashford.

“We have got a good chance. Anything is possible and we have to go there with the highest expectations.”

England start their World Cup Group G campaign in Russia against Tunisia on June 18, while Costa Rica open against Serbia, a day earlier, in Group E.
