#EndSARS: How To Report Corrupt SARS Operatives
When Nigerians are tired and decide to unite against a common enemy, there is always a notable result.
The social media trend #EndSARS has stayed strong for days because of the pain that Nigerians feel.
They want the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force quashed, withdrawn or proscribed but the Inspector-General of Police seems to have stood in-between.
After series of revelations of brutality and extortion against the SARS, the IGP, Idris Ibrahim, has now ordered the immediate re-organization of special anti-robbery squad (SARS) across the country.
The Force Headquarters has also release phone numbers and social media accounts through which the public can report their experiences with bad cops.
The statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer Force Headquarters, CSP Jimoh Moshood, suggests that aggrieved members of the public who have any complaint in the past or present of violation of their rights by any Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) personnel anywhere in the country are to report through any of the following channels for investigation and further actions.
