Shehu Abubakar Foundation in Gombe state has promised to commence building of primary health center and maternity in Bolari community in Gombe local government area.

Emir of Gombe Abubakar Shehu Abubakar who is the founder of the foundation said construction of the hospital will commence immediately. 

The royal father made this known shortly after visiting and inspecting a piece of land donated by one Ibrahim Maizare for the proposed project.

The Emir of Gombe and founder of the foundation promised to complete the project in 6 weeks. 

He said the health centre is needed urgently to cater for the health needs of the residents of the community more especially women and children.

Founder of the foundation Abubakar Shehu Abubakar said the foundation will continue to execute projects and programs to better the lives of the people of Gombe state.

"We will continue to look for ways to assist our people with valuable project, we don't have to just fold our hands and wait for government to come our rescue while we can assist ourselves," he said.

Commenting on the gesture, District head of Bolari Abubakar Garba on behalf of the people of Bolari expressed their happiness over the development. 

It is expected that Gombe local government will deploy health personnel and other staffs to the 35beds unit primary health center and the 15beds unit maternity as well. 

Isiyaka Tukur, the councilor representing Bolari ward in Gombe local government council told Bounce News that the local government is happy with development as it will cater for the needs of the children and pregnant women.
