Emefiele To Unveil Economic Direction For 2018

Business operators, stakeholders and analysts alike are awaiting the relevant authorities to unveil their plans for the new year.
On November 10, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, will deliver a keynote address on the state of the banking industry and give perspectives on the focus of the regulatory authority on banking and the economy for 2018 and beyond at the 2017 Annual Bankers' Dinner.
Scheduled to hold on Friday in Lagos, the event aims to further educate and enlighten the members of the banking community and other stakeholders in the economy on current banking reforms.
According to a statement by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, the organisers of the event, the British Deputy High Commissioner, Ms Laure Beaufils, is expected to be the guest of honour and will present the toast of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The event is expected to attract top dignitaries from the banking and finance industries, the business community, members of the diplomatic corps and top government functionaries.
