#ElectionPostponed: Lagos Police To Sustain Patrols, Surveillance
Whether the election is holding as scheduled or not, the police in Lagos are not going to relax on their resolve to keep the state safe.
Lagos State Police Command has intensified patrols in all the streets of Lagos to ensure the safety of the residents.
While the wait is on for the rescheduled presidential election to hold on February 23, patrols and surveillance across the state will be sustained to maintain law and order.
The Commissioner of Police CP Zubairu Muazu mni, has therefore, called on residents to go about their lawful duties without any fear.
In a statement by the command, the police thanked the people of Lagos State for maintaining the peace and urged them to keep providing credible and timely information to enable it to sustain the peace currently enjoyed in the state.
The command also warned hoodlums, persons with criminal intent that the Command will not entertain any act capable of breaching the peace of the state.
