Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos state, Jimi Agbaje has cast his vote, but not without hitches.

Card readers failed to identify the fingerprint of Agbaje, which caused some delays.

However, his fingerprint was finally captured.

Speaking to journalists afterwards, the candidate highlighted some hitches which also include low turnout by the electorates.

“We still have this confusion about card readers, after several attempts, the card reader identified my finger print today. These are some of the issues.

“The citizen must be part of the voting process, what happened in the presidential election could affect the turnout today but the people need to know that this is about them and they should be part of this.”

Agbaje is the main opposition in a state governed by the All Progressives Congress (APC), with Babajide Sanwo-Olu believed to be favourite to win.
