It may have been a bitter-sweet experience for Governor Abiola Ajimobi as he headed to the polls to support his preferred successor, Adebayo Adelabu.

The governor, who is making his first public appearance since he lost his bid to join the Senate, said the polling process at this unit Ward 10 Unit 20, in Ibadan South-West, Oluyole.

Ajimobi commended INEC for starting the process on time and adhering to the guidelines as stipulated in the electoral act.

He also thanked the people of the state for being peaceful while selecting their choice of leaders over the next 4 years.

He also called on all those at home observing to see whether or not the process is peaceful to come out and exercise their rights.
