The final El Clasico for the season ended in a stalemate on Sunday as 10-man Barcelona team were forced to a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou by Real Madrid.

As usual, fierce rivals Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were at each other’s neck and at the end they both scored in the feisty encounter which produced eight yellow cards and a red card that led to the sending out of Sergi Roberto.

Luis Suarez got the opening goal for Barca but Ronaldo was on hand to score his 18th Clasico goal thus equaling Alfredo Di Stefano’s Real Madrid record.

Messi restored Barcelona’s lead despite the numerical disadvantage in the second half.

However, Gareth Bale showed that he is not finish yet and he saved the day for Mardid; scoring his first ever Clasico goal which made the tie end even at 2-2.
