Cult supremacy battles have claimed several lives cultism in Bayelsa State.
The Ekiti State police command has arrested a notorious cultist and his gang who have been terrorizing residents of the state for alleged cultism and murder.

A popular and notorious cultist has been arrested in Ekiti State.

Gbenga Aluko and his gang have been terrorizing residents of the state for several months.

Aluko, 29 and his gang, who are members of Eiye  confraternity have been involved in several killings of members of Black Axe “AIYE” confraternity, a rival secret cult group in Ekiti and Ondo States.

Aluko was arrested on Tuesday by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad with the aid of tracking technology.

Other members of the gang arrested were: Ayodele Ayodeji, 31, Olamide Olurunsola, 43 and Adewale Adekunle 23,  all from  Ifaki Ekiti.

The other members escaped during the operation.

Materials recovered from them are: one Cutlass, criminal charms, one Dell Laptop, a foreign woman photograph, Two Ipad phones and one Infinix phone.

The Commissioner of Police in the state , Asuquo Amba said the suspects confessed to be members of Supreme Eiye Confraternity respectively and claimed that their guns are in custody of other fleeing members of their gang.

Amba assured they shall be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
