Ekiti Decides: APC Allegedly Induces Voters With N5,000
The soul of Ekiti State is at stake and interest groups are doing everything possible to win the hearts of the electorate - crook or hook.
The ongoing Ekiti governorship election took a new twist after it was alleged that opposition party All Progressive Congress is inducing voters.
It was alleged that the party is giving voters N5,000 each for their votes.
This is similar to what the ruling party People's Democratic Party allegedly did on Friday.
It was reported that the party gave voters N4,000 each for their permanent voters cards.
Meanwhile PDP agents at the polling units earlier accused security personnel of trying to disrupt the polls in favour of APC.
Bounce News correspondent, Lekan Oladeinde who is monitoring the polls in Ekiti state reports that some PDP agents told the party’s governorship candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola that security personnel have been detailed to harass and intimidate voters loyal to the party.
