Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has urged fellow state governors to show political tolerance in their states.

In a post on his Twitter page on Friday, Fayose disclosed that he has directed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) be allowed to use the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium for their Saturday governorship primary election.

He wrote: “In the spirit of political tolerance and democratic governance, I have directed the release of the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado State for use as the venue of the APC governorship primary election tomorrow.

“How I wish APC governors can also do this in their states.”

As at the last count, not less than 30 aspirants have indicated interest to use the party’s platform to run in the race against the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
