Eid-el-Kabir: Osun AD Gubernatorial Candidate Makes Big Promise
The Osun state Gubernatorial Candidate on the platform of Alliance for Democracy, Gbenga Akintola has made a big promise to sacrifice even his comfort as a lot of sacrifices will be needed to move the state out from the doldrums.
In a good will message signed by the Media Director of the Atunse 2018, Niyi Omoto, the AD flagbearer prayed that the Almighty Allah would accept the sacrifices made this day and grant every Muslim faithful their heart desires today and always.
Mr. Omoto noted that the AD candidate has been championing the course of the masses through his various philanthropic gestures even before dreaming of joining politics.
He said the AD Candidate is resolute in his commitment towards making sure that Osun state becomes a prosperous state and the food basket of the nation once again.
‘'Eid Mubarak is undoubtedly the biggest for all Muslim, The Almighty Allah blessed Muslims all over the world with two joys of Eid in each year.
''The sacrificial spirit of Prophet Ibrahim or Abraham as Christians would call him is what we need in Osun state right now as there is so much work to be done which we have resolve to do through various programs and strategies already mapped for the general welfare of the indigene of Osun state once we are voted into power.
''What we are working towards is a situation where every Osun State Indigene would afford to kill rams every month and enough foods drinks and meat to be share eon daily basis in every household.
“The situation in Osun state today is so pathetic that a politician counts it as an achievement for giving our children an egg a day.
“This is despicable and it’s a sign of a failed state if families can no longer to provide food for their households.
“We have a lot to do and to correct that is why we called our campaign slogan as ‘Atunse 2018’. We need to correct these anomalies and we are ready to sacrifice our own comfort in making sure that every ‘Osunian’ is able to put food on their table not only during festive periods but every other day," he concluded.
