Former Ivory Coast international Didier Drogba paid a surprise visit to his former club Chelsea on Wednesday.

The Chelsea legend stormed the club training ground at Cobham where he was greeted by players.

Cesar Azpilicueta and new signings Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Morata posted pictures with Drogba on twitter.

Drogba, who currently plays with Phoenix Rising in the MLS, is on a break from club duties.

The striker played for Chelsea from 2004–2012 where he scored 100 goals in 226 appearances. He returned to the London club in the 2014–2015 season and played 28 matches, scoring four goals.
