Protesting members of the Non Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), Osun State University (UNIOSUN) chapter on Wednesday locked out parents and relatives of grandaunts.

The protesting members, who locked the main gates, leading to the university were demonstrating against the non payment of their May and June salaries.

The development forced large number of the parents, who came for the 6th convocation ceremony of the university to park their vehicles on the stretch of Osogbo-Ibokun road, while some others had to trek long distances.

He added that the defaulting staff shunned their duties in June prompting Governor Rauf Aregbesola to invoke “No Work, No Pay” rule.
