Nigerian youngster Ola Aina has joined Championship side, Hull City on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.

After completing the move earlier on Tuesday, Aina joined up with the rest of the squad to fly to Portugal for a pre-season training camp.

Speaking after signing, Aina in an interview on The Tigers' official website said: "I'm very excited to be here and it is the start of a new chapter in my career.

"It's my first loan move away from Chelsea and I just want to hit the ground running. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of my new team-mates during the training camp in Portugal."

A product of Chelsea's Academy, London-born Aina made his senior debut in a League Cup victory over Bristol Rovers last August before a first Premier League appearance came as a substitute in a 3-0 win against Leicester City in October.

Aina has made six senior appearances for the Blues, and has also represented England at Under-16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 level, although he recently pledged his international future to Nigeria.
