Dogara: 'Buhari's Health Has Improved, But Keep Praying'
News about the health of Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, is one thing that the nation's citizens want to hear.
They are waiting for the return of the Lion King as he was referred to by his wife, Aishi Buhari.
But over 100 days have past since the Nigerian President left the shores of his nation on May 7 and the best Nigerians have seen about him is a video posted two weeks ago by Aso Rock.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Senate President visited the President at the Nigeria consulate in London named after the oil-rich nation and Britain's colony's Capital city, Abuja.
Abuja House in London heralded the visit of leaders of Nigeria's National Assembly, Dr. Bukola Saraki [Senate] and Yakubu Dogara [House of Representatives].
They held talks with President Buhari that appeared fit and ready enough to return to Nigeria, as seen in the video.
But a good news Mr Dogara brought to Nigerians has a demand added to it.
He says there is tremendous improvement in the health of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr Turaki Hassan, the spokesman for Dogara’s wrote on his Twitter Twitter handle @Yakubdogara as saying that Buhari was doing well.
The Speaker also urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the safe return of the President, in what looked like a clause attached to his good news.
“Today we visited His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari. I am glad that he is doing well.
“His health has improved tremendously. I urge all Nigerians to continue to pray and offer thanks to God for answered prayers and for the safe return of Mr President,” the Speaker said.
Buhari's health has obviously improved but there are intrigues.
The Presidency has not come out with information about the ailment the President is suffering or may have suffered.
