Nigeria’s Queen of the tracks Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor had a good start in the IAAF Diamond League on Friday as she finished in the second place in the Women’s 100m event.

Okagbare with a time of 10.90secs finished behind her fierce Ivorian rival Marie-Josée Ta Lou who came first with a faster time of 10.85secs.

With her victory, Ta Lou earned 8 point for herself while Okagbare got 7 points for her effort while third-placed Elaine Thompson from Jamaica has six points from the first race of the Diamond League season.
