The goalkeeping department is one which the Super Eagles handlers are still testing the waters to know who the cap truly fits.

In their quest to get the right personnel, it is understood that an invitation has been extended to Deportivo La Coruna shot stopper Francis Uzoho.

Deportivo La Coruna said in a tweet on Monday that their 19-year-old goalkeeper has got his first-ever call-up for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria and friendly against Argentina.

Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu had before now hinted that Uzoro was on the radar of the national team handlers and will get an invite if considered good enough.

Uzoho has got a handful of La Liga games under his belt and would be hoping to rival the likes of Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Daniel Akpeyi, Dele Ajiboye and perhaps Vincent Enyeama who are all options in the goalkeeping department.
