Ousmane Dembele has left Spain for Finland where he is due for a tendon surgery with a specialist.

The Barcelona forward will go under the knives on Tuesday to repair a ruptured left thigh tendon.

He suffered the injury on Sunday in Barcelona's 2-1 win at Getafe in the Spanish league.

The 20-year-old is expected to be sidelined for up to four months, ruling him out for the rest of 2017.

The France international has played three out of Barcelona’s four matches so far this season.

Dembele joined the Catalan club from Borussia Dortmund in a deal that could reach nearly 150 million euros.
