President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday meet with the returned Dapchi girls, one month and two days after they were kidnapped.

This meeting is coming a day after the girls were returned to Dapchi by their abductors, Boko Haram, (ISIS allied).

Taken on February 20 from the Government Girls Science and Technical College in Dapchi, while other Muslims were getting ready for their evening prayer, the girls looked distressed when Bounce News saw them on Wednesday.

For more than a month, the girls were held captive until negotiation with the terrorist group ensured they were freed.

After they met with the Governor of Yobe State, Ibrahim Gaidam, they were airlifted to Abuja where they are expected to meet with President Buhari.

Parents of the girls had raised concern over the excessive shielding of the girls by the military that is giving them pains of second separation.

When Bounce News spoke with one of the parents of the girls on Thursday, he said the girls had been taken to Abuja.

He was not sure when they will return and in his voice were signs he was not happy even though his daughter had returned alive.

Whether the girls would be left with their distraught look, as they meet with President Buhari is one thing that remains to be seen.
