Cultists Kill 15 People In Rivers State
Residents in some parts of Port-Harcourt are in shock and mourning after a heartless attack left over a dozen people dead and some others injured.
Gunmen suspected to be cultists have killed 15 people in Rivers State.
The motive for the attack, which seemed premeditated, is yet to be ascertained.
The incident happened at the Agip/Mgboshimini area of Port Harcourt, the state capital on Monday.
Those killed by the gunmen include both indigenes and non-indigenes; a nursing mother, a husband and his wife among others.
Corpses of those killed littered the area with some bodies burnt and others dismembered with machete cuts.
Several detachments of Police have been sent to the area.
There is no official statement from the Rivers Police Command on the incident.
