She was robbed of her purse containing the sum of twenty-five thousand naira (N25,000), a smart phone and other valuables by some suspected cultists, before taking to their heels.

Miss Chinaza Nzogbu was intercepted by the ‘bad guys’ on her way back from Okigwe, Imo State, where she went to see her parents in the village at Egwudinagu in Umuhuali community of Ebonyi State.

Bounce News gathered that the cultists beat her with machetes and later pounced a heavy stone on her chest ‎before she went into coma.

Chinaza, who was revived at the Onuoji Maternity Hospital in the area, told Bounce News that since she had been in coma, she cannot remember how she got to the hospital.

She narrated her ordeal in the hands of the suspected cultists.

"I stopped at the popular Nwankwo Umuhuali market to pick some items for my parents when two boys with long sword surrounded me and called me harlot.

"On hearing such ugly words from people I do not know, I became furious and inquired to know why they called me such name.

"They held my hair and threw me on the ground and started beating me with machetes and later pounced on my chest," she disclosed.

According to her, the cultists robbed her of her purse containing the sum of twenty-five thousand naira (N25,000), a smart phone and other valuables before taking to their heels.

A local security from the area, Mr. Ereke Mmaduabuchi (aka Zero Man) who picked Chinaza and rushed her to the hospital, told Bounce News he was alerted by a good citizen from the area, only for him to get there and see the victim in coma.

He gave the names of the suspected cultists as Ebuka (alias Skinful) and Ikechukwu Nwali Adagha, all‎ of Onunwankwo village in Umuhuali community.

Chinaza's father, Mr. Innocent Nzogbu thanked God for saving the life of his daughter from the claws of the suspected cultists.
