Court Remands Reekado Banks' Manager In Kirikiri
Reekado Bank's manager, Temi, was allegedly given 2 million Naira so that the musician will perform at a wedding in Benin City on December 23, 2017.
On the day of the wedding, the Mavin artiste did not show up. The couple want their money back.
Reekado's manager and brother was arrested and arraigned by the police before an Ikeja court and remanded on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
Trouble stared when, Uwa Igbinedion contacted Temi to get Reekado Banks come to Benin City.
Sources close to the case say the Mavin act failed to show up at the Ogba Area G police station, when he was invited regarding the matter of obtaining performance fee but failing to show up.
Despite his failure to fulfill the contract, sources say that the musician and his team have no plans to refund the money.
