Court Remands 3 In-Laws For Killing A Native Doctor
Three members of the same family are presently cooling their heels at the Olokuta Prison in Akure, Ondo state.
They were remanded by an Akure magistrate court for allegedly killing their in-law, Muyiwa Adelogba in Ifira- Akoko area of the state.
The three accused persons, Adegboyega Adeola, 26, Oniyere Bisi, 46, and Oniyere Ojo, 18, were arraigned by police prosecutor, Sergeant Meshach Emmanuel on a two-count charge of felony and murder.
The chief magistrate, Mrs. Victoria Bob-Manuel in her ruling, ordered the remand of the accused persons in the Olokuta Prison custody pending the outcome of the legal advice by the Director of Prosecutor.
She thereafter adjourned the case till August 16, 2018.
Bounce News had reported that the deceased, Adelogba, a native doctor was lynched by his own in-laws at his hometown in Ifira Akoko in the Akoko S/West LG area of Ondo state.
The in-laws were reported to have lynched the deceased after he was alleged to have beaten his wife, Itunu Adelogba over a disagreement centered on infidelity.
