An Appeal Court in Ilorin has declared Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The court said the nomination of AbdulRazaq by the APC National Working Committee was in order.

The court also slammed the Kwara High Court for entertaining a suit against the INEC on the matter since it had no jurisdiction on the matter.

It, however, upheld the four grounds of appeals, saying the case of the Ishola Balogun-Fulani was defective in all ramifications.

Meanwhile, the Campaign team of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq Campaign Organisation (AACO) has lauded the Appeal Court Judgement affirming the candidature of AbdulRahman as authentic APC Governorship Candidate in the State.

The Director Of Media and Publicity, Abdulrasheed Akogun, said the judgement had thwarted Balogun Fulani faction's attempt to frustrate liberation of the state.

According to him, “nobody can stop 'O-TO-GE' movement because it is a divinely ordained people's revolution to make Kwara work for every Kwaran and enthrone new political order with all conscientious Kwarans as stakeholders”.

“We salute Kwarans for rousing reception given to President Buhari yesterday (February 11) and charge them to vote all APC candidates during February 16 and March 22 polls.

"We can't afford to keep remnants of the greedy dynasty in government at state and national levels".
