Copa del Rey: Super Eagles Defender Set To Face Real Madrid
Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo is set for a starting role as his club take on Real Madrid in one of Wednesday’s Copa del Rey games.
Omeruo has been a key member at Leganes since arriving on loan from Chelsea.
Real Madrid host Leganes at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the first leg match of the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey.
Both teams have their eyes on making it to the quarter finals of the competition.

Real Madrid are expected to go all out for a home win over their crosstown opponents and will also be gunning for revenge having been knocked out of the competition last season by Leganes.
Los Blancos and Los Pepineros Legas have already met once this season at the Santiago Bernabeu when the hosts ran away with the three points in La Liga Santander, courtesy of a 4-1 win. However, in the last five months since this meeting in September, things have changed for both the clubs. While Real Madrid have gone pretty much downward, Leganes have done a lot of good things.
Santiago Solari will be eyeing a first win in 2019 after a draw and a loss in his last two matches.
