After disappointing results first against Villarreal and then against Real Sociedad, Real Madrid recorded their first win in 2019 on Wednesday night in the Copa de Rel where they beat Kenneth Omeruo and his Leganes teammates 3-0.

The Real Madrid captain struck his 100th professional goal in the first leg of the Copa del Rey last-sixteen tie with Leganés, when he stepped up to convert a penalty to open the scoring and set the madridistas on the road to victory (3-0).
