'Come To Plenary With Crutches', Ben Bruce Begs Melaye
There is something about Senator Dino Melaye that the Senate must be missing.
He has described himself as an Outspoken Senator and had even claimed his "nature of speaking the truth" was why he was being troubled.
Senator Melaye has been out of plenary of the Senate for over one month after he jumped off a moving police vehicle and landed on a hospital bed in Abuja.
After the incident, the Senator has appeared in court on stretcher to stand trial for allegations that he provided arms to criminals in Kogi State.
He represents Kogi West Senatorial District, but he has not represented them for over one month at the Senate plenaries.
One Senator that is missing him is Ben Murray-Bruce and he wants him to come to plenary even with crutches.
In a post on his Twitter page, the Senator from southern Nigeria said he would stand with Senator Melaye.
"I want Senator Dino Melaye to come to the Senate on Wednesday even if he is on crutches.
"The Senate is not the same without Dino! We miss him.
"I know he is on crutches, but I want him to come on Wednesday and I will stand with him," he said.
This is coming a day after Senator Melaye shared a picture of himself and his children with a neck brace.
