Just two games into the season, former Super Eagles striker, Victor Agali has lost his job as coach of National League side, Delta Force FC.

The management of the NNL side announced that they have parted ways with Agali on ‘mutual consent’ though they praised the sacked coach for his efforts in his short stay with the Ambassadors.

Agali who started his reign with Delta Force January this year, had his last game in charge at home at the Jay-Jay Okocha Stadium, Ogwashikwu on Saturday.

A 10-man Osun United of Oshogbo team held Delta Force to a barren draw in their matchday two in group B2.

The former Nigerian international striker had lost 4-2 to Rovers of Calabar in the season’s opener at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.

The decision of the club to part company with Agali may not be unconnected with a disappointing start for a club desperately chasing promotion to the Premier division.
