There was a sour point for Chelsea, as they cruised to a big win over Premier League rivals, Arsenal in a friendly game in Beijing, China on Saturday.

Blues playmaker, Perdo was involved in a collision with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina; a development that saw him been hauled off the pitch with a bloodied face.

The Spaniard has since been taken to hospital where he will be monitored over the next 24 hours.

Though Chelsea coach Antonio Conte suggests that there is no cause for alarm, Pedro was not part of Chelsea's traveling party to Singapore on Saturday.

The Italian Coach said: "Pedro went to the hospital and for sure he should be okay but I think he had concussion. For this reason, our doctor preferred to take him to the hospital and check him in the right way.

"It is a pity because in this period it is not good to have this type of injury but he should be okay. I am very happy for this.

"For sure he stays here [in Beijing] and then if the situation is okay he will come tomorrow to Singapore".
