Chelsea Manager Conte Attacks Mourinho
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is not smiling at the club’s former coach Jose Mourinho over some comments.
Mourinho, who serves as manager of Manchester United, said after his 1-0 win at Benfica in the UEFA Champions League game on Wednesday that unlike some managers, he does not "cry and cry and cry" about injuries of his players.
Chelsea on Wednesday lost a 2-0 lead to end their UEFA Champions League tie 3-3 against Roma at the Stamford Bridge, and Conte said he played the game under "emergency situation".
When asked about Mourinho’s comment, which was not specifically directed at Conte, the Chelsea manager did not find it funnly.
"A lot of time Mourinho has to see what happens at Chelsea.
"A lot of time, also last season, I think he has to think about his team and stop, to look at himself, not the others."
Nigerian winger, Victor Moses is among the injured players at Chelsea, but Conte said he is trying to make the best out of the situation.
