The Eagles will be battling it out on Sunday in Tangier for a place in the semi-finals of this year’s CHAN tournament.

The Palancas Negras knew a draw against already qualified Congo would be enough to get the remaining quarter final place, and they did just that.

On their part Burkina Faso and already-eliminated Cameroon drew 1-1 in the other Group D tie, thus finishing with two and one point respectively.

Sunday’s quarterfinal between Nigeria and Angola will kick off by 5.30 p.m. Nigerian time inside the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangier.
