There are huge doubts over the availability of home-based Super Eagles captain and first choice goal keeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa for Sunday’s CHAN final against Morocco.

Ezenwa was stretched out injured during Wednesday’s semi final clash after he simultaneously collided with two players while trying to make a save.

Toyin Ibitoye, the spokesperson for the Super Eagles on Thursday said that medics are looking at the severity or otherwise of what appears to have been a knee injury for Ezenwa.

Thankfully, Ezenwa has a dependable deputy in Dele Ajiboye who made daring saves when he was brought in to replace the injured Enyimba keeper.

Already, the Super Eagles have a long list of injured players including Sunday Faleye who was ruled out of the tournament after suffering an elbow injury in the quarter final game against Angola.
