Home-based Super Eagles Coach Salisu Yusuf is quite relieved that his team got a crucial win in their second group game against Libya at the ongoing African Nations Championships in Morocco on Friday.

Sunday Faleye was the hero for Nigeria; scoring eleven minutes from time to secure Super Eagles' first win- a slim lone goal in Tangiers.

"It was a very difficult victory," Salisu began: "We faced a very good team in Libya, who created a lot of problems on the ground. Our opponents were more comfortable than us backed by their victory against Equatorial Guinea in their opening match.

"We advocated a strategy to close spaces.

"We studied the Libyan team. We changed our strategy compared to the first match. The Eagles gaffer stated.

With qualification far from secured, Coach Salisu disclosed that attention was already on the final group game against Equatorial Guinea on Monday.

"We are already thinking about the next match against Equatorial Guinea. Our goal is to win the remaining match to stay here in Tangiers." He declared.

Nigeria has never won the CHAN tournament; hence they are hoping to make history in Morocco.
