Nigeria international Isaac Success has been in the news for all sorts in the last 22 months but not for scoring a goal.

However, what seemed like an endless wait and a jinx for the Watford forward was finally broken on Wednesday night.

Success, was on target for Watford who secured a 2-0 away win against Reading in their Carabao Cup second round tie at the Madejski Stadium on Wednesday, August 29th.

He scored the opening goal for the Hornets in the 36th minute of the encounter and expectedly, he was over the moon.

A delighted Success wrote on his Instagram account: ''Thank God for the win tonight and happy to have scored a goal??????come on ??''

This was the former Granada of Spain striker’s first goal for Watford since October 2016.

Domingos Quina got the second goal for the Hornets in the 62nd minute.

On Tuesday, another Nigerian, Kelechi Iheanacho also scored in the Carabao Cup.
