Alex Iwobi and his Arsenal teammates have booked their place in the final of the EFL Cup.

The Gunners put up a brave display on Wednesday night; coming from a goal down to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the second leg of their semi-final at the Emirates Stadium.

With the reverse fixture ending in a barren draw a fortnight ago, the two London rivals fancied their chances of picking the the final ticket at each other’s expense.

At the end, it was Iwobi and his Arsenal teammates that had the last laugh despite falling behind to an early goal scored by Eden Hazard barely seven minutes after kickoff.

Unfortunately, Antonio Rudiger own goal cancelled out Hazard's opener before Granit Xhaka provided the winning goal for the Gunners.

Arsenal- who have never won the competition under Arsene Wenger - will now take on Manchester City in the final at Wembley on February 25.
