Cameroon has handed the managerial job of the Indomitable Lions to for Dutch international, Clarence Seedorf.

The former AC Milan player will be assisted by compatriot Patrick Kluivert.

Cameroon's Minister of Sport and Physical Education, Pierre Ismael Bidoung Mkpatt made the announcement on Saturday, but the Cameroon FA is yet to confirm it.

Seedorf will be replacing Belgian Hugo Broos, who led Cameroon to a surprise victory at the 2017 African Nations Cup finals but was sacked in November after failing to qualify for the World Cup in Russia.

It will be Seedorf’s first national team job after managing AC Milan, Shenzhen and Deportivo La Coruna.
