Rivers United have been handed a tough draw in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Pride of Rivers will campaign in Group A alongside Tunisian outfit, Club Africain, FUS Rabat of Morocco and KCCA of Uganda.

United are seeking to become the first Nigerian side to win the competition.

In Group B, CS Sfaxien of Tunisia, Platinum Stars, MC Alger and Mbabane Swallows will fight for the last eight tickets.

Leading the charge in Group C is Zambian outfit, Zesco United who will face Al Hilal, Smouha and Club do Libolo.

Congo Democratic Republic giants, TP Mazembe; South African side, Supersport United, Horoya AC and CF Mounana make up Group D.

The top two sides in the group will qualify for the quarter-finals.
