Rangers International completed a double over Bantu FC of Lesotho on Sunday as they beat them again 2-1 to progress to the group phase of the CAF confederation Cup.

Rangers won both legs 4-2 on aggregate having won the first leg 2-1 and the second leg by the same score line.

Surprisingly It was Bantu that scored first inside the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium through Fathoane in the early minutes.

However, quick goals from Ajani Ibrahim and Godwin Aguda ensured that Rangers turned the table against the away team.

The Flying Antelopes missed glorious chances through Kelvin Itoya, Seka Paschal and Bright Silas but was able to hold till the end and progressed 4-2 on aggregates.

The victory ensured Rangers progression into the group stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, the club will know their group opponents Monday, when CAF conducts the draw at its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
