“Our game against Etoile has been moved to Kano, it’s sad that our opponent protested against the Zaria road stadium and the situation of our airport,” a top official of Plateau United disclosed.

“We argued against their protest with CAF, we played our home game against Ending FC in Jos and the stadium facilities is much improved, we told CAF about the state airport which can accommodate any flight but seems CAF has decided to give them the advantage", he added.

Despite this development, Plateau United say they would not be distracted in their bid to to get to the group phase of the Champions League.

The Plateau United vs Etoile du Sahel game will now hold at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday by 4pm Nigerian Time.
