The hopes of a Nigerian club going all the way in this year's CAF Champions League has gone up in flames.

Lobi Stars who are representing the country were beaten 3-0 in Pretoria on Saturday night by PSL giants, Mamelodi Sundowns and that defeat effectively ends the chances of the Nigerian club progressing with one game left.

Thapelo Morena, Themba Zwane and Lebohang Maboe got the goals as Mamelodi Sundowns exerted revenge on Lobi Stars and also confirmed their place in the Caf Champions League quarterfinals.
