The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the newly upgraded Enyimba Stadium for the Confederation Cup fixture against CARA Brazaville.

The stadium has been under renovation for three years and was only completed recently.

CAF inspection team last week visited the facility and Media Officer of Enyimba, Farriel Alaputa has confirmed that the stadium will now host the CAF Confederation Cup fixture against CARA on Wednesday.

“Finally, the hard work pays off. The @EnyimbaFC stadium has gotten approval from CAF to host CARA Brazaville on Wednesday and the rest of the club's #TotalCAFCC matches. Back home for good now.”

CARA top Group C with nine points after five matches, same as Enyimba. But the Nigerian side are 2nd in the group due to inferior goal difference.
