Winger Victor Moses was the major performer when Chelsea defeated Burnley 2-1 in an English Premier League game on Thursday.

Moses scored Chelsea’s second goal in the 69th minute after providing the assist for the first, as the Antonio Conte side continue to push for a top-four finish.

Chelsea had taken the lead in the 20th minute through a Kevin Long own goal and was well in control of the game.

However, Burnley drew level when Johann Berg Gudmundsson’s low drive went in off striker Ashley Barnes.

Moses' right-footed shot into the bottom corner proved decisive and ensured the Blues, who trailed fourth-placed Tottenham by 10 points last week, narrowed the gap to five points.

The Super Eagles forward was then voted the Man of The Match after his superlative performance on the night.
