Buhari's Campaign Council Coming Soon
President Muhammadu Buhari is ready to name a Presidential Campaign Council (PPC), but he is waiting for something.
The President said on Wednesday that the establishment of the Campaign Council would bring all speculations to an end.
He believes the Council will lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) to victory in the February 2019 general elections.
The President says he is aware of the yearning by Nigerians for the formation of a full Presidential Campaign Council towards the APC’s victory in the presidential elections.
In a statement, the spokesman for the President, Garba Shehu, said Buhari expressed his appreciation for what he called a 'growing interest' that Nigerians have shown in the issue, and he was conscious of their keen expectation.
However, President Buhari said he would, for now, focus on the APC convention scheduled for Saturday, October 6.

After the convention, the PCC would be put in place, the statement said.
President Buhari then implores members of the party and the public to exercise some patience regarding the constitution of the PCC.
"We are the party that will free Nigeria from corruption and poor governance. We are the party of change.
"We will not let the country down,” President Buhari assured Nigerians.
