Six governors are scheduled to leave Nigeria to visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London.

The visit is being organised by the office of the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Munguno (retd.).

Listed among the six are two Peoples Democratic Party governors; Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom) and Dave Umahi (Ebonyi)

The other governors are Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo) and two others yet to be named.

It was gathered those who were visiting were chosen without the input from the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

The governors had been directed to be at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday.

From there, they will fly to the United Kingdom.

The President had eaten lunch with some APC governors and leaders of Sunday, when his first photograph since he left Nigeria was released.
