It's Real Madrid!

Cristiano Ronaldo has led the Blancos to an unprecedented victory after scoring twice in Madrid's 4-1 win over Juventus in Cardiff.

It is Real Madrid's 12th UEFA Champions league win, the most by any club side in Europe. For Juventus and Gigi Buffon there is despair - they’ve lost the past four Champions League finals they’ve contested.

Ronaldo opened scoring in the 20th minute and looked sharp as he weaved through Juventus defense creating space for himself to shoot within from the edge of the box.

Mario Mandzukic equalised with a splendid piece of improvisation, bagging himself a goal fit to grace any cup final. It was an over head kick that brought the temporary parity to the game before the halftime whistle.

Madrid returned for the second half with vigour and enterprise with Ronaldo and Benzema switching positions.

Juventus were overstretched and attempts to move forward we held up by Kroos and Modric who kept up running to the flanks holding us and resisting attempts for the Old Lady to counter attack.

When it seemed the game was going to sleep, Carlos Casemiro's wonder strike in the 61st minute woke up fans at Cardiff stadium.

His shot took a mild deflection which left Buffon on his toes for a second too long to reach the far post.

Cristiano Ronaldo got his name on the score sheet again in the 64th minute after well worked play by modric down the flank after dispossessing the Juventus defense.

Substitute Marco Asensio added a fourth goal in the 90th minute to make Madrid's 11 against Juve
ntus 10 count in the closing moments of the game. Corduado got a second yellow for reacting against Ramos' fair tackle.

The Madrid captain made the most of the situation and got the anticipated result.

Zinedine Zidane outsmarted Allegri and it seemed the boys in Royal Purple simply wanted it more.
