It seems the wait may be finally over.

Paris Saint-Germain will announce the signing of the Barcelona star on Wednesday according to reports from Europe.

Reports claimed Neymar has agreed a six-year contract with PSG, who are set to meet the £197m buyout clause in his contract with the Catalan giants.

PSG’s pursuit of Neymar has angered some in Spain, where football league chief Javier Tebas says he will file a complaint with UEFA for financial fair play breaches by the French club.

The Brazillian is set to earn a whopping £500,000 per week should he eventual join the Ligue 1 side.

According to Carlos Carpio of Marca, Neymar’s father recently met with PSG sporting director Antero Henrique and board member Sophie Jordan to finalise the transfer.

Carpio suggested the deal will go through when PSG “deposit the €222 million of [Neymar’s] termination clause, which it appears will be done via the personal sponsorship of Qatar.”
