From one Adeleke to another Adeleke.

The Osun West Constituents have spoken through the ballot box and their choice is to stay with Davido's uncle.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ademola Adeleke, winner of the Osun West by-election.

Adeleke, who has never contested an election before now, secured victory in 9 of 10 local council areas in the constituency.

The PDP's candidate dismissed the APC's Mudashiru Hussein despite his support from the National leader of the party and Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

Adeleke polled a total of 97, 280 votes while Hussein could only gather 66, 115 votes.

In all, 11 candidates contested during the election which observers and INEC officials declared as free, fair and VERY credible.

There has been celebration across some parts of the state with more people singing praises of the PDP.

Could this be a hand-writing on the wall that change might soon be changed?
